Spotlight: Guido Petti Pagadizábal
The first player to fall under the spotlight of The Scout is Guido Petti Pagadizábal whose strong 2018 season places him as a top choice for your fantasy team this year.
Guido Petti finished last season as one of the standout locks, having amassed an impressive 439 points.
For more information on what the numbers on the player cards mean, take a look at this.
His stand out performance from last year was certainly the Jaguares' home game against the Stormers in which he accrued a whopping 107 points, still the second highest score on the game (after Ellis Genge's 115). Beyond that, he regularly delivered 30-40 points scores, making him a diamond player to have in your team, especially given his very competitive salary.
While his stand out game above certainly adds some punch to his points per game, 42.67 sits above the other locks available, and perhaps only Matt Philip provides an equally great option for your second row berths.
Comparatively, Brodie Retallick offers another good option, though his points through the season were boosted by his six tries, but given his high cost it's hard to look beyond Guido Petti as the first name on your team sheet for 2019.
