Dave Attwood returns to the Gallagher Premiership this season after a lengthy injury layoff, and some time in the sun down in Toulon.

Don't let that put you off though, he has proven himself over the years to be a consumate performer, and both Bath and fantasy coaches should be excited at the prospect of seeing him back in blue, black and white.

While he hasn't played for Bath since their defeat to Sale Sharks at the end of the 2016/17 season, his performances through the early part of that campaign showed how valuable a fantasy asset he can be to your squad. Despite only appearing through roughly half of the season he posted a great fantasy score that was built on both solid defence and excellent attack.

His tackles per 80 sat at 10.46, with a completion rate of 91%. Add to that nearly a clean break a game, and 11.77 metres per 80 and you get the picture of a well rounded fantasy performer.

He'll undoubtably have the bit between his teeth as the season kicks off, and a wise fantasy coach would join him for the ride.
